The conference will investigate New Materialism through Tenets (codes and systems of belief, theories, opinions and ideologies), Thinkers (theorists,
academics and educators), Practices (traditions, discipline, procedures, artmaking, art history, art criticism and artworld agencies), Objects (manipulation of matter as substance or material, art works. The program will include opportunities to explore a diverse range of viewpoints from philosophers, academics, artists, curators, critics, historians and educators.
Presentations will focus on collaborative exchange and include key notes, forums, collaborative presentations, artmaking workshops with visual arts teachers and National Art School lecturers, poster display presentations, Pecha Kucha (short presentations), research hubs and think tanks.
