This day will focus on Year 11 and the relationship between Stage 5 and Year 11 and how we create the most effective pathways for students in the newly mandated modules. The modules in the different English courses (Advanced, Standard, English Studies and EAL/D) will be analysed to understand the intent and opportunities of the syllabus and how text selection can take advantage of its potential.

This event will be followed by a separate Programming Day on August 28th to provide guided support in writing programs for implementation in Year 11 2018, with a consideration of backward mapping from Year 12.
